Clean agent fire extinguisher contains HFC-236fa clean agent (low pressure) as fire extinguishing agent, which is a HFC (Hydro Fluro Carbon)
HFC-236fa is a colorless, odorless, electrically non-conductive “Clean agent” which:
- Has Zero ODP (Ozone depletion potential);
- Has Low GWP (Global warming Potential);
- Leaves behind NO residue;
- Provides good visibility during discharge; and
- Is suitable on class A, class B and class C fires
HFC-236fa clean agent is environment friendly and is suitable to protect sensitive equipment’s like Computer / Server Rooms, Data Storage areas, CNC machineries, Operation theatres, Medical diagnostic rooms, Laboratories, Chemical storage rooms, Archives, Art Galleries, Bank vaults etc. HFC-236fa has been approved by the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) for commercial and industrial use under the EPA’s SNAP (Significant New Alternative Policy) Program. It is also listed under the UL (Underwriters Laboratories).

How do you operate a Clean Agent Fire Extinguisher
In case of any fire accident, hold the discharge hose in your left hand, pull the safety pin, aim the nozzle towards the base of fire, squeeze the squeeze lever and direct the powder to the base of fire and attack in sweeping motion.
