Modular type fire extinguisher provides 24 hours protection and activates automatically in case of a fire at any time of the day. It is self contained, unmanned, does not need external power or an operator and is simple to install as no piping or wiring is required. It is also more cost effective than a conventional automatic flooding systems.
This Automatic Modular Fire Extinguishers fire protection for macro level fire protection of most critical areas such as server rooms, hub rooms, test rooms, labs, storage rooms etc. These areas are either energized for 24 hours/tests are on for 24 hours so the fire risk is fully present for all 24 hours.
Modular fire extinguishers are fitted with quartzoid bulb type sprinkler bulbs When the ambient temperature around the sprinkler bulb reaches around 68° C (57° C to 1070 C), the bulb breaks and the extinguishant is discharged automatically.
